About Webbuild and these Terms
Webbuild Products is the software distribution, account and licensing platform operated by Webbuild. The platform at https://products.webbuild.eu supports customer accounts, purchases or other commerce events, licences, activations, releases and downloads. Webbuild Business Registry is a self-hosted Perfex CRM module. These Terms apply to your use of the platform and the Webbuild software supplied through it. Product-specific information shown with an order or licence also forms part of the applicable arrangement.
Acceptance
By creating an account, placing or accepting an order, downloading software, activating a licence or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you use the platform for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept them for that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the relevant platform or software.
Accounts
You must provide information that is accurate and keep it reasonably up to date. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for activity carried out through your account. Do not share credentials or allow unauthorised access. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or an inaccurate account record. We may use account status and security controls to protect the platform.
Purchases and access
The platform may record customer identity, provider or source, external order or event references, order status, amount, currency, payment status and related operational information. The commercial details applicable to a purchase, including product, price, currency, taxes where applicable, access and any stated conditions, are those presented at the time of purchase or otherwise agreed with you. The platform does not itself define a general recurring-subscription or cancellation rule in these Terms.
Access to a download, release or licence depends on the applicable product, order and licence status and the controls described on the platform. A purchase or external order reference does not itself become a Webbuild licence secret.
Software licences
Subject to these Terms and the applicable order or licence record, Webbuild grants the licence identified for the relevant product. A licence is an internal Webbuild entitlement associated with a product and, where applicable, a customer and order. The licence record may include an activation limit, expiry or other status shown by the platform. No broader rights are granted than those stated in the applicable licence or required by law.
Activations and permitted use
Activation associates a licence with an installation identifier and may record a hashed installation identifier, software version, status and operational timestamps. An active licence and available activation capacity are required for activation. You must use the software lawfully and in accordance with the applicable licence, and must not bypass activation, share licence secrets, or use one licence to provide unauthorised access to others.
Downloads and releases
Downloads are available only where the applicable licence is valid, the release and artefact are active and published, and the platform’s access checks are satisfied. The platform may issue a short-lived download grant and record its operational use. Releases and artefacts may be published, updated, retired or otherwise made unavailable as part of normal product administration.
Updates and compatibility
We may publish releases, fixes or updates through the platform. Compatibility depends on the product, its documented requirements and the customer’s environment, including the customer’s Perfex installation. We do not promise a particular update schedule or compatibility with every third-party version unless expressly stated for the relevant release.
Webbuild Business Registry and self-hosting
Webbuild Business Registry is installed and operated in the customer’s own self-hosted Perfex CRM environment. The customer is responsible for that environment, including hosting, backups, access control, configuration, lawful use and the accuracy and security of information held there. The module does not make Webbuild the operator of the customer’s CRM installation.
Third-party APIs and external data
The module may integrate with Companies House, the HMRC Check a UK VAT Number API and, where applicable, Greek AADE services. These are external services controlled by their respective providers. Their availability, terms, authentication requirements, returned data and permitted uses may change. Webbuild does not promise uninterrupted access, completeness, currentness or error-free results from an external service.
Companies House
Where enabled, Companies House data may be queried and displayed for the customer’s review. The customer or its operator chooses whether to use a result to update fields in the customer’s own Perfex installation. Webbuild is not Companies House-approved or accredited, and Companies House’s own terms and information apply.
HMRC VAT
Where enabled, the module may query the HMRC Check a UK VAT Number API. The integration uses API or OAuth credentials configured for the integration; it does not store the customer’s HMRC sign-in username or password. Results should be reviewed before use. Permitted use is limited to legitimate business dealings, VAT registration validation, checking the registered business name and address, invoicing, related due diligence and keeping business records accurate. You must not use HMRC VAT Checker data to build datasets or marketing lists, conduct marketing based on the data, resell or disclose it for profit, publish it publicly, or use it for unrelated purposes. Webbuild is not HMRC-approved, HMRC-accredited or HMRC-recognised, and HMRC’s own terms, limits and availability apply.
Greek AADE
Where applicable and enabled, the module may query Greek AADE services. The available service, returned information and authentication requirements depend on the relevant AADE service. Results should be reviewed before any selected update in the customer’s Perfex installation. Webbuild is not AADE-approved or accredited, and the relevant AADE terms and requirements apply.
Review and customer responsibility
External registry and API results can be incomplete, delayed, changed or incorrect. You must review results and decide whether an update is appropriate before relying on them or applying it to your own system. You remain responsible for lawful processing, verification, corrections, notices and decisions based on information in your Perfex installation.
Intellectual property
Webbuild and its licensors retain rights in the Webbuild Products platform, Webbuild Business Registry, releases, documentation, branding and related materials, except for rights belonging to third parties or information supplied by you. These Terms grant use rights only to the extent of the applicable licence. You must not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer or redistribute the software except where the applicable licence or mandatory law permits it.
Prohibited misuse
You must not use the platform or software to break the law, infringe another person’s rights, gain unauthorised access, interfere with the platform, evade licensing or access controls, submit malicious code, misuse external APIs, or use data for a purpose prohibited by the relevant provider. You must not attempt to expose another person’s account, licence or CRM information.
Security responsibilities
You are responsible for securing your account, self-hosted Perfex environment, installations, API or OAuth credentials and any access granted to your staff or contractors. Report suspected platform or product security issues to [email protected]. We use reasonable measures to operate and protect the platform, but no online system or third-party service can be guaranteed completely secure.
Support
We provide support through the contact channels made available by Webbuild and the information you provide in an enquiry. Support is subject to product scope, available information and reasonable operational capacity. These Terms do not promise a particular response time, service level, update period or outcome unless expressly stated for a specific product or agreement.
Payments, refunds and cancellations
Payment and commerce events may be processed through an enabled provider or other supported source, and the platform may record provider references, amounts, currency, status and refund information. The applicable provider’s terms and the commercial terms shown for the purchase govern payment processing. Refunds, cancellations or revocations are handled only where available under the relevant provider, order, agreement or applicable law; these Terms do not create a fixed refund period or cancellation right. Nothing limits mandatory consumer rights.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend platform access, downloads or licence use where reasonably necessary to protect the platform, investigate misuse, address an unpaid or reversed transaction, respond to a provider revocation, or comply with law. A licence may become inactive, expired, suspended or revoked according to its record. We will act proportionately where practicable and will not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. On termination or expiry, you must stop using affected software and retain only copies permitted by the applicable licence or law.
Disclaimers and liability
The platform and external services are provided with the functionality available at the relevant time. We do not promise that the platform, software, releases or third-party data will be uninterrupted, complete, current, compatible with every environment or free of errors. You remain responsible for backups and for reviewing data before applying or relying on it. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to that, each party’s liability is governed by applicable law and any applicable written commercial agreement.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy at https://products.webbuild.eu/privacy explains how Webbuild Products processes personal information. The self-hosted nature of Webbuild Business Registry and the handling of information sent to external APIs are also described there.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the platform, products, providers or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means that the updated Terms apply to future use, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be changed in that way.
Contact
For questions about these Terms, products, accounts or licences, contact Webbuild through https://webbuild.gr or https://products.webbuild.eu. For security reports, contact [email protected].
Mandatory rights
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer, data-protection or other mandatory legal rights.
